Permanent, full-time; 8.30am–5pm, 40 weeks.
£30,000–£50,000 pa depending on experience.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Food Tech Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This would suit a Food Tech Teacher who is looking for their next challenge or someone who is wanting to explore and specialise in a special educational setting. This role would suit colleagues from a range of teaching backgrounds including mainstream and specialist settings.

Odyssey House School, Wokingham is an exciting new special school setting, aiming to provide the highest quality education to students with special educational needs. The school caters for a range of special education needs, primarily high-functioning autism. 

Qualifications and requirements: 

  • QTS or equivalent qualification required.
  • Proven teaching experience
  • Desire to work in a specialist setting 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have basic knowledge of Autism (please note that training will be provided)
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
