Finance Officer 

Permanent part-time post.
25 hrs per week (days/times to be agreed with the successful candidate).
Band F (scp 11–19, £21,750–£25,480 pro rata).
Term-time only. To take up post at the beginning of June ideally.

Englefield is a popular, happy and successful small village school in a beautiful rural location close to J12 of the M4 motorway. We are looking to appoint a highly talented and dedicated Finance Officer to join our hard working, small and friendly team. 

You will have: 

  • proven ability to work with computerised financial management systems / accounting systems - our ideal candidate will be familiar with FMS/SIMS 
  • a high level of self-motivation and adaptability - you will be the only finance person in our school so working under your own initiative is key 
  • IT confident and competent with a professional and flexible approach – a good working knowledge of a range of communication and payment platforms would be ideal 
  • the flexibility to manage change at the drop of a hat and work under pressure 
  • good people skills and a sense of humour are essential!
