Term time only would include 2 weeks plus INSET days/twilights;
37 hours per week (41 weeks).
Option for term time only or full time to suit individual needs.
Pay Scale: Level 7 or 8 Fringe depending on experience*.

*Level 7 NJC Points 30–35; full time £34,733–£39,841.
Term time only actual salary £31,267 to £35,866.
*Level 8 NJC Points 36–41 Full time £40,831–£45,814.
Term time only actual salary £36,757 to £41,242.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and creative Finance Manager to work with the Head Teacher and the existing Finance Team in effectively carrying out all financial processes. The Westgate School is an oversubscribed, hugely successful, secondary school with exceptional facilities and has just completed a further expansion project. We currently have 1217 students on roll including Sixth Form and 140 staff supporting positive outcomes for all our students.

The successful candidate will ensure that the school’s financial systems and processes are managed and operated efficiently and effectively, which includes payroll and pensions. Ideally candidates will have experience in an educational setting, budget monitoring and knowledge of the statutory financial requirements adhering to EFSA guidelines. Prior knowledge of Civica would be desirable but training and development is available to the right candidate.
