Finance Manager

SO2, point 26–31, £16,982–£19,367 pa.
25 hours per week (hours flexible), Term time only plus 5 days.

We are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to work as part of our friendly and supportive office team. Applicants should have strong financial skills, and experience of managing an accounts system would be beneficial. 

The main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Operating and maintaining the financial systems in the academy 
  • Leadership and day to day management of the finance department 
  • Preparation and monitoring the budget.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated person who is able to deal with the daily pressures of our busy academy office, whilst retaining a calm manner and sense of humour. The ability to work closely and effectively with all staffing groups is a high priority.
