St Thomas’ Church of England Infant School and Woolton Hill Junior School are located in the pretty Hampshire village of Woolton Hill, on the Berkshire-Hampshire border, lying within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural beauty. Now part of a federation to be known as The Schools of Woolton Hill, we are proud of our schools and their place in the community. We believe that education is a partnership between home and school and we strive to develop effective learning in a stimulating, engaging and safe environment where every child thrives. 

With our federation just newly formed, the Executive Headteacher is a new role which represents an extremely exciting opportunity for the postholder to drive our schools forward in the next stage of their development. We are therefore seeking to appoint an experienced, inspirational individual, with strong communication skills, who will work collaboratively with forward thinking governors, a dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff, and children who are motivated to learn. 

We are looking for a leader who will: 

• lay the foundations to build a successful and enduring federation partnership between the two schools 
• encapsulate the shared values and ambitions of our schools, whilst also recognising their distinctive characters, embedding these at the heart of a joint strategy 
• motivate and inspire pupils and staff, acting as a role model, instilling a culture of collaboration, shared trust and respect 
• optimise resources and latest educational developments to deliver better outcomes for every child
