Examinations Officer

Maternity Cover.
Fixed-term contract.
24hrs/week, over four days, term time plus 2 inset days and 3 days in August
to manage the exam results.
39 working weeks.

We are looking for an Examinations Officer to cover a maternity leave on a fixed-term contract, to provide high quality and effective organisation of internal and external examinations, liaise effectively with exam boards and co-ordinate our team of invigilators. 

Candidates must be well organised, confident in use of IT, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality. Experience of working in schools desirable but not essential. 

The postholder will be required to work 24hrs/week, over four days, term time plus 2 inset days and 3 days in August to manage the exam results (39 working weeks). A flexible approach to the distribution of hours per week will be required due to the nature of the post. There will be an expectation to increase hours over five days (Monday to Friday), during the summer examination period. The additional hours worked during this period can be taken as TOIL after the summer exams have finished.
