Careers Leader

Grade F: £21,748–£25,481 pa, FTE (Actual: £5,952–£6,975 pa) Pay award pending.
12 hours per week; term time only plus occasional additional hours as required.
September 2021 start or earlier.

We are seeking to appoint an individual to the post of Careers Leader. The post-holder plans the implementation of a careers strategy, develops a Whole School Careers programme that meets all Gatsby benchmark criteria and prepares students for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment. In addition, the post-holder coordinates contributions to careers guidance from staff within the school and external partners, including providers of careers guidance services and employers. Applicants may also wish to apply for the combined role of Careers Leader and EVC Coordinator.

The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school. It has 1130 students on roll, including 180 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading.
