We wish to appoint a temporary Early Years Practitioner to work Monday–Friday (08.30–15.30 hrs daily), term time only, in our friendly, supportive, multi-cultural school. This will be a maternity cover contract starting on 1 September 2019. Alfred Sutton Primary School is a 3-form entry primary school in East Reading, with a Nursery.

Ideal candidates will:

  • hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification
  • have previous experience working with children, ideally in Early Years
  • be patient, energetic and enthusiastic 
  • be able to demonstrate good written and oral skills, both in English and Maths.
