Langley Grammar School has an outstanding record for teaching and student performance. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible technician to work within our Design Technology department. The Design and Technology Department includes Product Design, Food Technology and Textiles.
Reporting to the Subject leader, the post is likely to involve any of the following:
The post may suit either a retired engineer, machinist or tradesman, particularly somebody with Product design and CAD/CAM experience. The successful candidate will join a team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning, be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving skills, and have excellent interpersonal skills. A willingness to learn is important and relevant training will be provided.
