Full time with 0.6 teaching commitment.
Salary L9–L13; £48,687–£53,723.

The Governors of Aldryngton Primary School are looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join our Outstanding school. This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified, experienced and aspirational teacher with proven leadership and management skills to play a pivotal role in our happy, hardworking and successful school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an outstanding class teacher, ideally with experience of Upper KS2
  • Can lead by example and support others to improve practice
  • Is ambitious for all and able to secure high level pupil outcomes with a particular focus on the school’s PPG cohort 
  • Has successfully led whole school initiatives 
  • Is able to think analytically and creatively 
  • Has in-depth knowledge and experience of assessment processes and data analysis to ensure maximum progress 
  • Is able to prioritise and meet deadlines 
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils
