Slough and Eton is looking for a great teacher to join our Geography department as its new subject leader. Geography is our most popular GCSE option subject at Key Stage 4 and we need a leader for the team who will enhance this further and develop the subject post-16.

We would like the successful candidate to lead the introduction of A-Level Geography in September 2020. This will be dependent upon previous experience.

This is an attractive post for those who wish to prepare for senior leadership, develop their whole school leadership skills and comes with the opportunity for secondment to leadership team in the future.

The department is in a dedicated Humanities area and benefits from access to the latest Clevertouch interactive technology. The new leader of this team needs to be a qualified Geography teacher with a track- record of ensuring success at KS4. If that’s you then you will need to be hardworking, dedicated to ensuring students of all abilities can succeed and, crucially, a great classroom teacher. Previous experience of examination success at either KS4 or 5 is essential although there is no requirement to have taught post-16 previously.
