(appx 20–25 hours a week split over 3 or 4 days) or a split role comprising:
Term time only with occasional work during school holiday periods.
Previous experience of working in this role essential.
Experience of the Independent sector preferred due to knowledge of ISI / ISSRs.
The full role manages the increasing levels of regulatory compliance required by independent schools as well as the financial management of the school.
The compliance aspect means that you will ensure Meadowbrook meets and observes a wide variety of guidelines and regulations set by both government agencies and the Independent Schools Inspectorate, advising the Head teacher and ensuring that appropriate records are maintained. You will take responsibility for the management of Health and Safety but also for facilities and property, ICT and HR.
The financial aspect involves payroll, budgeting, invoicing, payments, bank reconciliations, accounting etc. Knowledge of ‘Xero’ preferrered.
