Clerk To The Governing Body

Scale Point 20–24.
£10.71–£12.06 per hour.
Hours as required but approximately 4–8 hours per week, term time only.
Closing date: noon Friday 21 September 2018

We require an efficient and dedicated person to join our friendly and caring Primary School, to act as Clerk to the Governing Body for our committed and enthusiastic team of Governors.

You will be required to attend all meetings of the Governing Body to take minutes, prepare agendas and supporting documentation, so knowledge and experience of governance procedures is essential.

It is important that the successful applicant has excellent communication skills, both written and oral, playing a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our Governing Body. They will have a positive attitude to their role, with a willingness to adapt to situations as they arise.

Attendance at evening meetings will be required. This post could be home-based.
