South Ascot Village School invites you to join our welcoming, inclusive community as our SEN Unit’s (The Canopy’s) new SEN Teacher specialising in autism and complex needs. This is a chance to contribute your expertise in a school that truly values each individual and embraces diversity, innovation, and collaboration.
As SEN Teacher for The Canopy, you will be central to delivering personalised, evidence-based teaching tailored to autistic pupils with complex needs.
You will be a dedicated professional who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a strong understanding of autism and evidence-based SEN strategies
- Is passionate about creating a safe, stimulating environment where every pupil can thrive
- Demonstrates adaptability and creativity in planning and delivering personalised learning
- Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- Is compassionate, patient, and resilient, with a commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development
- Has experience or a keen interest in working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
