Children’s Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner

33.5 hours per week; required from January 2020.
Initially until 31st August 2020 with the possibility of extension beyond that date.
Current salary £16,319 pro rata (full time equivalent £21,589).

The Heights Primary is an outstanding school in the Caversham Heights community which opened in September 2014. 

It currently has 328 pupils from Reception to Year 6.

We are looking for a Children’s Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner who is:

  • Highly motivated to support SEND children to make excellent progress on a one on one and group basis.
  • Confident in leading small group work.
  • Hardworking, calm and patient.
  • Well organised and flexible.
  • A relevant qualification is desired but not essential.
