Caretaker

Grade 3 Point 5; for full-time hours the salary will be £26,649, 37 hours per week,
52 weeks per year (part time may also be considered, three-four days per week).
28 days holiday entitlement per year (full-time equivalent).
To start as soon possible.

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our site team and contribute to the smooth running of our busy secondary school. This essential role supports the Site Manager in ensuring the safety, security, cleanliness, and maintenance of our buildings and grounds. Key duties include site security, portering, basic repairs, assisting with lettings, and daily caretaking tasks to help keep our learning environment safe and welcoming.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a premises support or site assistant role, strong DIY skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Shift work is required, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.

On-site accommodation may be available for the successful candidate.
