Required to start September 2019.
Bucks pay range 1b, point 6–10, depending on skills/experience.

There is something special happening in the woods at Danesfield School, where happiness, ambition, respect and a thirst for improvement are at the heart of our vision.

We have our own inspiring wrap-around care, ‘The Den’ and we are looking for positive, hard-working team players to join us.

We can offer you:

  • A school which is continually seeking to develop and improve
  • A school where work-life balance is a priority
  • An enthusiastic, friendly and supportive team
  • Children who are engaged, keen and well-rounded

Your duties will include:

  • Being a ‘mood groover’ and not a ‘mood hoover’
  • Providing the children (from ages 4 – 11) with fun activities
  • Basic food preparation, setting up and clearing away after meals and activities
  • Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children

Ideally you will be qualified, or working towards NVQ Level 2 in playwork or equivalent. If you are an enthusiastic, motivated, happy, team player, and want to be part of a school where you are valued and your hard work recognised, come and see for yourself. But be sure to bring breadcrumbs or we may not let you leave! :).

To make a convenient appointment please telephone 01628 483031 or find full details on our website or follow us on twitter @DanesfieldSchl

Closing date: 17th May.
Interviews week commencing: 20th May.

We are a Safeguarding School which is committed to promoting the welfare of children. Appointments are subject to enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. Applicants would be subject to a spoken English language fluency test.
