Administrative & Clerical Officer

Trevelyan Middle School.

Salary Grade 5 (FTE £22,269 to £25,097; actual salary £18,791 to £21,177 per annum).
38 weeks, plus 2 days; 37.5 hours: Monday–Thursday: 8.30am–4.30pm; Friday: 8.30am–4pm
(with 30 min for lunch, unpaid). Fixed term for one year to July 2020.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a school environment, however this is not essential. The position would suit someone who has the ability to work well under pressure whilst prioritising and working productively and efficiently. You will be able to deal with all situations in a sensitive, calm, caring manner. To be considered for this position you must be able to communicate effectively and courteously with all staff across the Trust, parents, pupils and any visitors to the school. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide effective and efficient administrative support for the coordination of educational visits, activities and admissions; 
  • Be responsible for operation and administration of Parent Pay;
  • Be responsible for the overall coordination of school visits and activities;
  • Provide an effective and efficient reprographics, binding and laminating service to all members of the school community;
  • Act as the point of contact for the purchase orders
  • Undertake general office, reception and administrative duties as required;
