Admin Officer

RG4 SCP 11–22, £21,166–£26,317 pa (actual salary £17,901.17–£22,257.63 pa). Successful
candidates will normally start at the first point of the grade to which they are appointed.
37 hours per week, term time only, including five inset days. Permanent.

We are looking to strengthen our admin team and want to appoint a motivated and driven Admin Officer to join our fun and lively team. This post is for 37 hours per week, term time only plus inset days. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm.

This position is currently based at our KS3 and Post 16 site, Northumberland Avenue, RG2 7PX, but you may be required to work across sites. This is a demanding position with varied and interesting tasks,as well as being first point of contact for all queries and visitors. An ability to organise, prioritise work, remain calm and work in a professional manner is required.

Cranbury College is a complex, multi-site organisation which includes a Primary site, KS4 site – Futures, KS3 site – Pathways, Post 16 site – Vision. We have an Outreach Behaviour Support Team, offer medical tuition and have a Hospital Teaching service.

Cranbury College is a 132 place alternative curriculum provider, including a Hospital Teaching Service, Behaviour Support Team, Secondary and Primary PRU, Individual Learning Programs, and a Post 16 provider.  

Reading Borough Council currently commission 100 places from Cranbury College to meet the needs of some of Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. The College also offers bespoke individual learning packages to those with complex needs and those who have difficulties accessing any of the College’s sites.
