Accelerated Learning Provision – Lead

Required from September. Salary: APT & C scale G.
Permanent position – 37 hours a week, term time only plus 2 Inset days.
Actual salary £19,509–£24,511 (depending on experience).

We are seeking to recruit a member of staff to lead Denefield’s Accelerated Learning Provision (ALP). Our Accelerated Learning Programme provides intensive small group tutoring to students in a variety of subjects, including English, Maths and Science, alongside their normal lessons in these subjects. The successful candidate will have very high expectations and be able to motivate and a wide range of students, helping them to excel in their studies and fulfil their potential. This role will suit an experienced tutor of secondary school aged students. You may also be a qualified teacher, although this is not essential. 

Candidates must also be able to demonstrate an ability to fulfil all aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English and be committed to making a positive contribution to the achievement of the school’s aims and CHARACTER values.
