Teaching Assistant – 1:1
with a child with Special Educational
Needs/Educational Health Care Plan

Fixed Term Contract. Starting 11th October 2021 to the 21st July 2022.
Five days per week: 9.15am—3.15pm. 
5 hours per day plus 1 hour for lunch (25 hours paid per week).
£9.25 per hour. Term time only.
Closing date: 3pm, 20 September 2021.

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work alongside a child with Special Educational Needs/EHCP (Development delay, including speech delay and difficulties in social communication). 

Five days per week.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who is: 

  • Able to work 1:1 with a child with special educational needs under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Committed to developing good relationships with; staff at the school, children, parents and outside agencies. 
  • Friendly, caring, hard working and supportive with high expectations. 

Experience of working with children with special educational needs and knowledge of development/speech delay would be advantageous for this post.
