The Ark is a resource for 21 primary-aged children with autistic spectrum conditions.

Christ the King, including The Ark, an ASD Resource, is a happy, welcoming school with 390 delightful pupils and committed and supportive staff. 

We are looking for someone who will work closely with The Ark Manager to deliver teaching to a small number of children in the mornings, and who is: 

  • highly motivated, cheerful and energetic
  • an understanding of children with autism
  • able to plan and deliver engaging and challenging learning
  • differentiate for a range of pupils’ needs
  • committed to the fact that all children can achieve
  • supportive of our Catholic ethos (you do not have to be a Catholic to apply).
