Oaklands School is a new co-educational, independent Special Educational Needs (SEN) day school in Hungerford, West Berkshire. We provide unique, contemporary and enjoyable learning experiences for young people aged 5–16 years with special and individual needs.

Speech & Language Therapist
This is a very exciting role for a Speech and Language Therapist who can demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing SEN children and their needs. Working as part of a team, you’ll support our goal of providing a high-quality education for students who may have complex and additional educational needs. Along with a “hands on” approach, you’ll be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and time management skills.

Teaching Assistants (both TA and HLTA)
We’re looking for enthusiastic, approachable, flexible and experienced Teaching Assistants to support our goal of providing a high-quality learning for students with complex and additional educational need. You’ll be open to learning while supporting pupils to engage in a creative timetable of education.

Occupational Therapist
Working autonomously, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high-quality occupational therapy outcomes to support classroom learning and pastoral support suitable for our students. You’ll provide quality assessments, reports and interventions and work as part of our team to embed strategies across the environment. Previous experience in working with children/young people is essential and understanding of Sensory Integration would prove advantageous.
