Learning Mentor

Required immediately, term time only.
Permanent contract, Monday–Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm.
Grade 4 Scp 7–11, FTE salary: £24,294–£25,979.


We want every pupil at St Paul’s to enjoy and succeed in all aspects of school life. Therefore, we are seeking to appoint a positive, enthusiastic practitioner with a passion for helping children to thrive. The role involves working within a classroom environment, in partnership with the teacher, supporting pupils’ learning and emotional wellbeing.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with children, preferably in an education setting in a similar role;
  • Be passionate about supporting all pupils, particularly those with SEND;
  • Be driven to achieve positive outcomes for all pupils;
  • Deliver learning tasks to small groups and individuals on a 1-1 basis;
  • Have excellent communication skills, a good sense of humour and enjoy working as part of a team;
  • Be fully committed to safeguarding children and young people.

This is a permanent contract working Monday – Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm.
