Inclusion Leader 

Job Title/Post: Inclusion Leader.
Salary: L1–4, £47,185–£50,807 Sept’23 FTE. Contract Type: Permanent.
Start date: September 2024.
Responsible to: Executive Headteacher.
Hours: 4–5 days per week with flexible working to meet the needs of the federation.

Key aspects of the role include: 

  • Co-ordinating and monitoring the provision put in place for individual pupils, working closely with staff, parents/carers and other agencies 
  • Providing professional guidance and advice to colleagues with the aim of providing high quality teaching for all, so that pupils achieve the best possible outcomes 
  • Coaching and supporting effective teaching and learning across the federation 
  • Leading and supporting a team of Teaching Assistants across the federation 
  • Being part of the federation leadership team 
  • The confidence and ability to inspire and motivate staff with the ability to lead by example

The successful candidate must: 

  • Be a highly motivated leader with high expectations of what all children can achieve, regardless of barriers; someone who believes, as we do, that all children are entitled to access the full richness of a broad and balanced curriculum, and will thrive upon providing equality of opportunity for all. 
  • Have a love and passion of inclusive education for all with a commitment to high expectations of academic standards and behaviour. 
  • Have relevant SEN coordination qualification. 
  • Have experience of delivering SEN/D and inclusive practice across whole school, supporting EYFS, KS1 and KS2 learners.
