Head of Department – Computer Science

Salary: £31,350–£47,839 plus TLR 2IC £5,325 pa.
Required for September 2024.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner and leader with a proven track record who can head up our already vibrant department. You will aspire to excellence in learning and teaching, setting a foundation where our students enjoy learning and aspirations are high. 

This post presents an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to work with colleagues to demonstrate the values we expect of students in Business, Economics and Computing. You will be Head of Computer Science and work alongside the Head of Faculty as Second in Charge to oversee Key Stages 3–5 Computing and the IT Cambridge Technical at KS5. You should be motivated, enthusiastic and inspiring; you must be self-confident and ambitious; possess excellent interpersonal skills; be able to make tough decisions; have sound judgement, especially when working under pressure.
