We are seeking to appoint a talented, inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join our new Leadership structure with shared responsibility for driving forward areas of the School Improvement Plan. This will involve taking responsibility for leading Key Stage 2 and being part of the teaching team within Key Stage 2. We actively welcome applications from Middle Leaders aspiring to their next step, as well as from current Assistant Headteachers looking to further develop their careers. 

Within this role, you must be ambitious for our children above all else and be able to: 

• assist the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in the day to day operational management of the school 
• take a leading role in strategic decision making and policy development across the school, 
• assist in the promotion, direction, and oversight of high standards of teaching and learning, 
• provide leadership, support and direction for Key Stage 2, ensuring achievement and progression for all pupils 
• help shape and deliver a shared vision for the future and who will take an effective lead on Teaching and Learning 
• support the professional development and performance management of staff 
• show commitment to your own professional development and have a desire to undertake additional higher level qualifications, such as the NPQ programme.
