Hillcrest New Barn School, recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, offers a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to boys and girls, aged 6–16 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health complexities. New Barn School takes full advantage of its beautiful settings and fosters a love for using the outdoor curriculum including forest school, farm experiences and horse riding.


SENCO

This is a full time position with flexibility on hours; we are offering a competitive salary of up to £38,984 plus SEN allowance along with a wide range of benefits.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and skilled SENCO who is passionate about teaching and learning and can engage our students in education even when they may be reluctant due to previous life experiences. You will be part of a strong, dedicated leadership team, committed to providing our students with the very best outcomes through academic and vocational studies.

As the new SENCO you will have the skills and experience demanded of a successful teacher, have qualified teacher status and have ideally completed the SENCO qualification. You will also have experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour and associated learning difficulties.

KS2 Primary Teacher

This is a full time position; paying up to U3 (£38,622) depending on experience plus SEN allowance along with a wide range of benefits.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and skilled practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and can engage our students in education even when they may be reluctant due to previous life experiences.

The post holder will be expected to lead the teaching of and co-ordinate flexible, person-centred programs of study for designated individuals and groups of young people at Key Stage 2 with SEMH and complex needs. You will need to have qualified teacher status and have experience of working with young people with challenging behaviours.

Eton Dorney Residential School is set in a beautiful Grade II listed building in a lovely village close to Windsor.

This innovative therapeutic school opens its doors in March 2018 and will nurture, educate and support up to 24 children with mild to moderate learning conditions, such as ASC and Asperger’s. There will also be a high quality 6-bed residential service on site.

You will be a high-achieving SEN practitioner able to teach nationally accredited KS2–KS4 courses and offer excellent quality professional support to the creative and supportive Head Teacher developing this fantastic new resource!

This pivotal role offers you the freedom to be imaginative in your practice and work closely with the Head Teacher to influence resources and ideas for teaching and also gain bespoke professional development.
