A rare opportunity to join our team of Educators in the delivery of specialised health, well-being and drug education programmes to primary-aged children throughout Thames Valley/North Hampshire.

You will preferably have recent experience of working with young children and knowledge of and an interest in health, well-being and drug issues. A flexible approach is required as the days worked each week may vary.

Life Education Wessex & Thames Valley is a charity working with schools and the community to help children make informed healthy choices and stay safe. Educators use positive and dynamic teaching strategies and specially designed visual aids and models to make children aware of the wonders of the body and how to look after it. The fun, age-appropriate and memorable programmes are primarily delivered in purpose built mobile classrooms.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass an intensive three month training course and be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Executive Assistant to the Education Executive Team

G8 (£26,822 to £30,153 pro-rata)
Full time (with opportunity for hours to be worked flexibly across the week) to start as soon as possible.


This is an exciting and varied role for someone who wants to make a difference by providing an outstanding, personal admin support service to our Education Executive Team, including the Chief Executive, to optimise their effectiveness in leading our Trust and supporting our schools.

Based out of our central offices in Reading, the post holder will take the initiative, using personal judgement and a strong working knowledge of CST services to resolve internal and external customer and client issues, and deal appropriately with confidential or sensitive information on a daily basis.

As gatekeeper for direct access to the CEO’s and Education Executive Team’s time, the Executive Assistant will:

  • Deliver excellent communications when dealing with incoming calls, email and post, highlight urgent correspondence or refer as appropriate, or draft responses for the Chief Executive/Directors. Follow up and monitor that all has been answered.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure regular meetings are arranged and communications flow seamlessly between individuals, the rest of the central team and schools.

The post holder will also be responsible for line managing the CST Administrative Support Team.
