Waingels

Nursery Business Opportunity

in Woodley, Berkshire
Opening September 2017

We are in the process of building an open plan nursery facility with on-site parking.

We are building the facility as a community outreach venture with a view to establishing Waingels at the heart of the Woodley community.

We have 128 Full time equivalent staff who are present on site term-time only. We have planning permission for the facility to open between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 all year round. We have received some funding for the project from the EFA to provide some 30 hour free places from September 2017.

We envisage the right person, perhaps an existing nursery staff member or manager, leasing the facility on an initial 5 year basis and running it as their own business. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to run their own business with a background in early years education.

We are in the construction phase at present so there is an ideal opportunity for the right person to come on board and shape the internal layout of the facility.

Bilingual Teaching Assistant (Arabic)

(Summer 2016 Parent Survey)

All Saints is a GOOD (OFSTED September 2016), fast moving school with a strong family spirit and an OUTSTANDING Early Years Provision.

With 295 children on roll, and small classes, All Saints is a well-resourced Church of England primary school and nursery which is committed to diversity and inclusion in the context of the school’s Christian ethos.

As a Bilingual Teaching Assistant (BTA), we will look to you to provide in-class and withdrawal support for those pupils aged 3–11 years who are learning English as an additional language.

You’ll produce visual and dual language resources to support both curriculum access and English language development, contribute to assessing pupil needs and liaise with teachers and parents.

Whilst the support of the BTA will no doubt help the children to learn English this is not the aim of the support.

Literate and a fluent speaker of English and Arabic, you will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science and possess excellent communication skills.

You will benefit from great support and training which is specific to this role and an opportunity to embark on this will be available in July in preparation for the September start.

To apply, please complete the application form on our website www.allsaints.wokingham.sch.uk/staff-vacancies/ and forward to jbunting@allsaints.wokingham.sch.uk

Visits are warmly encouraged, please telephone our School Business Manager Jane Bunting on 0118 9787173 to make an appointment.
