The Trustees of The Eden Academy are seeking to appoint a Marketing and Communications Manager to join us from January 2018 to lead marketing and communications services across the Eden Academy.

The Eden Academy is a special Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) currently comprising five schools for young people with a range of special educational needs.

The Academy’s vision is to create a centre of educational excellence where our young people will achieve exceptional outcomes. The successful candidate’s key responsibilities in relation to the marketing and communication services across The Eden Academy will include support for strategy, public relations, event management, website management, free school communication and fundraising services across The Eden Academy.

We wish to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive and productive person who can think clearly and strategically about key messages and media, with a ‘hands on’ approach to delivery and also be responsible for the line management of a marketing and communications assistant.

Ufton Court Educational Trust is a thriving and innovative children’s charity seeking a confident Outdoor Leader to deliver high quality education. We deliver sessions both at Ufton Court and in schools. Over 11,000 children a year visit Ufton Court for enriching educational visits which breathe life into the curriculum.

What is the role?

  • You will deliver outdoor woodland education including low ropes, archery, hiking and fire lighting and more.
  • You will work with disadvantaged children to raise their aspiration and attainment
  • You will also work in History education which will involve being in costume and character using drama as a tool to make our nation’s History come to life.
  • You will work in our expert teaching team and receive full training for all the activities you are asked to lead.

The RBWM Children and Care Applications team provides system administration, support, training and development for a number of applications for users across the council, including Strategy and Commissioning, Adults (Optalis), Children’s and Health (AfC), and schools across the Borough.

We are seeking a term-time plus 15 additional days SIMS support specialist to work as part of a small team with responsibilities for delivering system administration, support, training and development of the Capita SIMS school management information system.

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable SIMS Specialist to join our SIMS for Schools service to deliver high quality support services to schools.

The role will be varied, including:

  • providing first and second line technical support to schools
  • providing support of SIMS Core Modules including Assessment, Attendance and Pupil Data
  • advising schools on how to use SIMS to enhance students’ outcomes
  • planning, preparing, and delivering SIMS training courses to school staff
  • assisting with testing and deploying system updates and upgrades.

Ideally, you will have demonstrable experience of using the Capita SIMS management information system software modules, including Assessment, Attendance and Pupil Data in an education setting and have excellent ICT skills. In addition, demonstrable experience of using the Capita SIMS Secondary modules, including Assessment, Lesson Monitor, Cover, Examinations and Nova T Timetabling in an education setting, as well as using SIMS Personnel and SIMS FMS Finance modules would be an advantage.
