The Willows School Academy Trust is a school for pupils with statements of special educational needs, predominantly those with SEMH – Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. We are a well-resourced academy and are undertaking rapid improvements in our learning approach and our learning environment.

We are looking for a flexible and hardworking person to provide an efficient and effective caretaking and cleaning service for the site; ensuring that the security and general appearance of the site are maintained according to the required standards.

Estate Manager

Salary: M8 (Circa £29,000 pa)
Hours: 37 hours per week, plus an additional 120 hours


We are seeking to appoint an experienced, hard-working, motivated and dedicated Estate Manager for our School.

The successful applicant will work to support the school within all areas of maintenance, cleanliness, health and safety and security. You will support the Headteacher by taking responsibility for the management of the school site, day to day maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and high quality learning environment and have key holding responsibilities.

You will have experience to effectively manage other site staff including external contractors. You will enjoy working in a committed and supportive team and have a flexible and positive outlook, becoming an integral part of our school community. You will be a reliable individual, experienced and knowledgeable in Health and Safety practices required by the school to keep pupils and adults safe within the site. The ability to work from your own initiative is essential. This post will require the post holder to work split shifts.
