The vision of the National Autistic Society is for a world where all people living with autism get to live the life they choose. Opening in September 2013, NAS Thames Valley School, for pupils aged 5–16 with an ASD diagnosis, will be the realisation of this vision. Here children will find a true understanding of what autism means and an education that meets their needs. The school will enable pupils who are not currently accessing effective or suitable provision to receive a high quality, specialist education and increase their choices, opportunities and achievements.

As an integral part of the leadership team, you will play a central role in providing strategic management and operational leadership in the areas of finance, administration, HR and site management.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Part Time, Term Time only (39 weeks)
20 hours per week, from 8.30am
Salary: S6 £19,874 – £22,885 depending on experience
(pro rata £9,412 – £10,838)

We are looking for the right person to join our team at Beaufort Community Primary School as a PA to the Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will be required to support the work of the Senior Leadership Team in a variety of administrative tasks in order to allow them to focus primarily on the Teaching and Learning within the school.

This will involve carrying out a wide range of tasks including:

  • Data Handling
  • Information Management
  • Secretarial Support
  • School Management and Administration Support
  • Resource Management and Research
  • Parent and Community Liaison.

Candidates should:

  • Be hardworking, able to show commitment to the role.
  • Be Positive and friendly, with a good sense of humour and fun.
  • Be entirely trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be highly organised.
  • Have excellent ICT skills; able to use Powerpoint, Excel, Word and other common software.
  • Be creative with a high level of initiative
  • Be flexible and adaptable, able to prioritise under pressure.
  • Have good levels of Maths and English.
  • Have high standards of personal and professional conduct, including in appearance, behaviour attendance and punctuality.
