Class Teacher

Currently, we are looking for a knowledgeable, committed and pro-active Class Teacher to join our team.

Prior’s Court School is aligned with Teachers Pay and Conditions and SEN1.

We require a qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to work in an educational environment that provides a specialist approach to autism. The successful applicant will have a resilient and calm manner in order to fully support our students to achieve maximum independence.

Experience of teaching children with special educational needs and autistic spectrum disorders will be an advantage but is not essential; a comprehensive training package plus continuous professional development in the field of autism will be provided.

Victoria Park Nursery School is an “outstanding” local authority provider based in central Newbury. We are seeking a new Teacher on a fixed term contract pending a restructure brought about by the retirement of our Headteacher.

Are you:

  • A reflective practitioner with a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, an NQT, or alternatively an UQT either about to qualify or prepared to study?
  • Able to lead a small staff team consisting of a Nursery Nurse and Learning Support Assistants?
  • Someone with an open positive attitude and excellent communication skills?
